About Us / The LewDun Way

We believe there are two types of contractors — one that tells you “what you want to hear” and one that tells you “what you need to hear.” At LewDun Construction, we have a saying that describes our level of customer service. It’s called “The LewDun Way.” This means we will keep you up-to-date on the budget, latest project timeline and realistic expectations as we move through the building process. We know you do not want to be blindsided by overruns and schedule delays, that is why you can expect communication and project status updates daily. Our commitment to the homeowner is best displayed in the steps we take to deliver quality work.

Communication

Good communication between client and contractor is essential. Complaints about construction projects often stem from poor communication between contractor and client. However, at LewDun Construction we are often complimented for our regular communications keeping the client updated on the daily activities. At the start of every project the client is given a comprehensive schedule. At the end of every workday the Project Supervisor provides the client with an email update of what was done that day and what to expect for the next day.

On Fridays the email includes the schedule for the coming week so the client can plan their next week accordingly. We do this to make it easier for you and your family to plan your own schedules.

Clean Up

Job site cleanliness is also an important factor. At LewDun Construction we finish each work day by cleaning up our work area and putting tools and materials away. Also, the house is secure when we leave.

When construction is finished, we remove all floor and dust protection and other debris. We bring in our own cleaning crew to do a thorough cleaning of the of the project area. It will be “Move in Ready” when we are done. You can begin to enjoy your new space immediately.

The Final Review

Because our policy is to take care of issues that come up when they occur, we seldom have a large punch list at the end of the job. Your Project Supervisor and Sales/Production Manager will do a final walk through with you to take care of any of those last few details.

Upon completion of the project your Sales/Production Manager will conduct an exit interview with you to get your feedback on the construction process and your thoughts on anything we could have done better. We are always eager to improve!

Any time during construction that you have concerns or questions you are encouraged to bring them to your Project Supervisor or Production Manager so that we can address them immediately. Our goal is for you to be completely satisfied so that you will become a future advocate for LewDun Construction. We cannot take care of your concern if we don’t know about it.
